Anyone else sick of everyones pregnancy advice?
That isnt asked for???
Im sooo sick of having people that half the time Im not even that close to tell me what I should and shouldnt eat, drink, sleep, act, do, not do, how I should raise my child, whether or not I should find out the sex, etc...
It reminds me of when I was getting married and everyone told me what I HAD to do for my wedding and acted offended when I disagreed. I learned to smile and say ok thanks...
But with raging hormones Im having a hard time just smiling and pretending I dont mind the advice... I want to tell them to shut up! And maybe punch them LOL
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ugh YES. And I've been getting it from friends who have never been pregnant before and know nothing about pregnancy. My one friend told me the other day that I should just schedule a C-section now because they are so much better and easier than a vaginal delivery. She doesn't even know what she's talking about.

I don't mind when people give advice that they found helpful, or genuinely believe will help me.
It's the people who are judgemental that I hate. I had a male relative who I'm not even close to demand to know why my husband was LETTING me drink a cup of coffee. Or when someone says, "you're going to breasfeed, right? Of course you are, everyone should at least try it". That's not helpful advice and it's not all that supportive, even if I was planning on BFing.
The people I LOVE are the ones who just tell me that if I have any questions to ask them.

All because I said that I was scared (since this is my first child) my cousin cornered me on NYE & was giving me "advice".
Then she proceeded to start quizzing me!
Oh yea...& she cornered DH too...

I cant stand it!!!! I cant stand people telling me what to do! I'm going to be a mom! I dont need 40 other moms of my own!
