f u stupid coworker!!!
I work in a salon and we were all just chatting. I said I wish we could have half a day on sat so I could nap before going out to dinner. Was half joking and just bs'ing. One co worker says.... Boy u really aint gonna make it as a mother if u need a nap. Then she leaves the room. Ummm thanks. As if I don't feel incompetant enough already. Me feels sad and old

FcuK her!! Holy! What an a-hole. I'm sorry - but I STILL napped as a mom... you need to recharge. That's why you have DH/SO/Family around.
Tell her (or him - I'm totally assuming that it's a woman) to keep the comments to themselves...

If she is a mom and she claims she didn't nap, she is LYING!!!!! Some women will make themselves look like 'supermom', but it's total bs and they're lying to hide their own insecurities. Don't give a second thought to women like her, they are full of sh!t  And FTR, I still sometimes nap with my 19 month, even before I was pregnant. These kids wear you out

Thanks girls. She has a teenager now so when she had a baby she was 20 and lived with hjer mom. Its just so hard when I feel down on myself to begin with to hear this crap!

You are pregnant (and soon to be a new mom) which is synonymous with exhaustion and hormones. Which, I might add, is a nasty little combination that leads to snarky comments which you can easily throw right back at her... just sayin'! LOL

if i don't get a nap every day i'm miserable. i KNOW having a kid will be a lot of work, but being pregnant is physically draining. everyone i know is constantly telling me to take it easy and make sure i nap when i can. this girl clearly doesn't know anything, try not to let it bother you.
