Congrats!!!!! I knew you were gonna get your BFP for Christmas!!!!!! So exicited for you!!!! And yes I would tell my family!!! I don't think I could keep my mouth shut with such wonderful news. I would just tell immediate family only!!!!!

Can you tell us all your symptoms for those who are waiting for a BFP!!!!!

I edited my original post with symptoms.

I dont know that I can hold it in !!! DH & I will have to discuss. I may take my chances with parents/siblings on Christmas...and then tell the rest of my family on NYE. Plus my family's party on NYE is always chock full of alcohol...and I dont want people asking why I'm not drinking

Thanks!!! I had similar symtoms. I had a dry throat and what felt like a head cold coming on but now it's gone. I'm feeling tired broke out a little bit..this all can be wishful thinking for me..but I hope I get my positive in a few days!!!! Chat Icon

Do you think you're going to tell your family while celebrating Christmas? Or wait for the first sono? It's tough not to let on that you have big news when the whole family is together!! I'm secretly grateful that I can't really test until next week, it would be hard not to spill! lol

I dunno what to do! My MIL has the biggest mouth I've ever seen - so telling just our parents/siblings is out of the question.

But I love that my family & best friends will all be around for the 2 holidays...so its very tempting. Plus the last 2 years have been a whirlwind of bad news for my family... so i feel like some happy news would be amazing for everyone.

my MIL does too! she almost blew it for us when we were finding out my sister in law was pregnant. I think when our time comes we'll have to do it when the whole fam is together, but at the same time when I'm comfortable w/ everyone knowing already b/c otherwise she'll spread the news! good luck! it's definitely tough w/ NYE right around the corner! I'm usually labeled the "wine-o" so everyone starts speculating when I'm not drinking! Chat Icon

You can always bring a 6 pack of non-alcoholic O'Douls w/ you and pour it in a glass so everyone thinks you're drinking beer! Chat Icon

Ha! I wish it were easy to just drink non alcoholic beer - but i dont even drink beer..doest sit right with me.
I'm the one who devours the jello shots ;) So much for that!
