Infant car seat cover
I'm due March 25, should I get one? I'm thinking it could be pretty cold for a month, but will I really be out that much in the first month? Will he still be in the infant car seat next winter? I just don't want to get it only to use it once or twice.

I wouldnt get one if I were you. Chances are you won't be out much for the first few weeks except Drs appts and a blanket will do the same thing. Plus March can get warm so you never know.
As far as if the little one will still be in the seat depends on what the weight limit is. Mine is only 20lbs so I dont expect my little guy to still be in his infant seat next winter.

I agree. We took DS' off at the end of March and just used a blanket.
As for the winter next year - I'd wait and see and buy it if you need it. DS was out of his seat at 9 or 10 months and was on the smaller side so it's hard to predict.

I don't believe the "Lite" versions are the shower cap style. At least they don't picture them that way in the ads.

My DS was born in March and we didn't use any car seat cover for him until the following winter (when we used a shower cap style one). You can get away with placing a blanket over the strapped in baby. You probably won't be taking baby out too much at first.
