Finally moved into maternity clothes but felt uncomfortable..
At 16wks 3 days I felt it was time to graduate to maternity clothes..not because I have a bump but because my reg. clothes are fitting tight. Anyway, I felt so weird wearing my maternity pants. First off, they felt like they were falling off..I think its because I havent really filled them in yet but they just felt big on me. I dont know what to do..should I go back to my reg. clothes even though they are tight or just deal with the maternity pants until I eventually fill them in?

Have you tried using a Belly Band with your regular pants? It can be really great for that annoying in between stage!

I have and I hated it. It kept crunching up and sliding up.. I really hope I pop soon so these maternity pants fit me well.

(Bored tonight  ) Some BTDT advice....just do what's most comfortable. Play around with different styles of maternity pants. I always preferred the panel that rolled down.
ETA: maternity leggings are really comfy, I'm actually wearing them now  (a pea in the pod)

Until my belly got bigger I really loved the elastic real wasit pants form Old Navy. They are just like real pants but with a thick elastic band. I loved them. Once the belly came I really liked the full panel.

I'm cracking up because I tried it ONCE and absolutely 100% hated it! But everyone I have ever spoken to about it has RAVED about it! SO I figured I'd suggest it. Sorry it didn't work for you either! 
What I did in that in-between stage was I bought the full panel maternity pants, and pulled the panel all the way up and tucked it in under my bra. That helped the pants stay in place. I do agree with PennyCat though- you may just have to try out different types of pants and see what you are most comfortable in. HTH!

I say to try out different styles of maternity pants. In the beginning I was super comfy in maternity leggings and tunics...and the lower-band jeans. Now that my belly is bigger (aka HUGE  ) I like full panel better.

I'd make sure you have the right size.
I have a pair of maternity pants (size L) that keep falling off & I'm 30 weeks. All the rest of the pants I have are size M & fit better.

same thing happend to me when I got a pair of pants at Target. They did fall down a bit but I have a gut now lol so it's finally staying put.

Try leggings-- I have one pair of pants that I got with this pregnancy that I wear all the time, because they are the only ones that don't fall off. It's so annoying!!

In the beginning maternity clothes was even more uncomfortable then regular clothes since they kept on falling down . Some maternity pants have adjustment thingies so I bought a couple like that and they fit better then the regular ones.

I agree with the leggings! I started wearing a few maternity items aafter 16 weeks and even though I could wear regular leggings, the maternity ones are so comfy! And you don't really need to fill them out to wear them and they grow with you. I've been basically living in the 8 pairs I have destination maternity.
I've been wearing mostly regular shirts in a bigger size though. the few maternity ones I have definitely pooch out too much and makes me feel frumpier. I'm 18 weeks today
