Making my 3.5 month old going to bed later, how?
dd is ready for bed at 645 every night. She's so beyond tired that she's ready, and if I keep her up she's screaming bc she's overtired. Shell sleep for a good 9 hours but that leaves me with her waking between 230 and 330! How can I make her stay up later so she wakes at a normal hour?!?!?

Re: Making my 3.5 month old going to bed later, how?
My youngest guy was doing the same thing early on, always wanted to go to bed early and was also waking at that time during the night but let me tell you once they start sleeping through the night you will be happy with an early bed time. I always follow their cues and if they want to go to bed early I wouldn't push her to stay up any later. DS now at 12 months still goes to bed on the earlier side 7pm and I prefer it since I have a an almost 3 yr old so that gives me alone time with him once the other one is in bed.

Re: Making my 3.5 month old going to bed later, how?
DD would do this - go to bed early and then wake anytime between 12 and 2 for a bottle. I dream fed her 2 ounces for 2 nights. I then decided to stop because she seemed a little off those 2 days and I wasn't sure if it was the dreamfeed. Well, to our surprise that was the night DD started to STTN. Maybe it was the dreamfeed. Maybe it wasn't. But maybe it's worth a shot.

Is she up for the day at 3:30 or just to feed then go back to bed? If she goes back to sleep I would leave her and slowly dec. the amount during that time until she's sttn.
Or, what about a nap at 5:00-6ish? Wake her up if need be at 6 and try and get her to stay up a little later?

I stopped feeding her then I giver her some tea and she's fine so I don't even think she's waiting to eat now it's just out of habit!!! I may have to try the late evening nap and see if that'll work!!!
