If a child was diagnosed with coxsackie on wednesday would you take the child to a birthday party today if the fever was gone?

We were told to stay home until all the sores were gone

Re: Coxsackie disease - how long is the child contagious?
hmmmmnnn...wondering if this is what my DS has/had. He just ran a high fever about 103-104 for about 24hrs and just has a runny nose. Complained of a sore throat for a short period the first night I think, but tonight. I put him in the bath and saw a coupe of little blister like things around his mouth kinda on his lip. He had a little rash on one cheek today, and now tonight I see the little blisters and also a couple on the outsides of his hands and on top of his feet. When I looked it up though to confirm it it said the blisters would be inside mouth, and on palms and soles???? I'm confused!! Just remember the Dr said he had red spots in his throat weird though cause he feels FINE! Just hoping these babies don't get whatever it is. They are all snotty and congested already. I hate school germs!!!!

My babies never had a fever. They had a terrible rash on their face, between their toes, on their hands, on their bottoms and even on their legs. Try to keep your older guy away from the little ones. It is no fun!

Ann has had it three times - the first time with a very high fever, the second with a mild fever, the last time - no fever.
Anyway, I've always kept her out of daycare a full week. Although I did find out another child in her room had it and was only out for one day
