he likes trucks trains and cars.
I am actually thinking of getting him a real train set for christmas.
we have way too many books. my BIL is a teacher and he has brought him so many books that I can't even buy him any. it's just too ridiculous! lol
hmm. the driver thing was a holdover from christmas. I can delete it.

By the way, we have those M&D puzzles and DD LOVES them!

eta: Does he have a magnadoodle? Someone gave DD a tiny one and she loves it. I"m thinking of getting her a bigger one.

he has a gol! 
from me and dh, we got him a scooter with a cool helmet, a set of blocks with a pull wagon, and another set of puzzels.
he's really starting to get in to drawing. he has a few cars/trucks that he plays with.
we don't really have room for an indoor ball pit. honestly, with all the soccer balls we have, it's already an indoor ball pit. 
I just got him his bedding from PBK but I guess that's not really a gift.
I feel so uninspired. I need to get into the mind of an (ALMOST!) 2-year-old boy.

I was going to suggest the radio flyer scooter, but you got him one.
I agree that the Chicco smart driver is for a younger child. DS got it at 9 months for Christmas and really liked it, but at 18 months he doesn't bother.
How about more M&D puzzles? We recently got DS the alphabet set, number set, and color fish set from Melissa & Doug. Amazon sells it in a 3 pack for about $20.

How about a collapsible tent and tunnel? We just got one for DS and he loves going through it and playing with it. Every night he brings it over and says "open, open"... his little friend that's 27 months old also likes it.
