City Mini Double Owners with a Toddler and Newborn

DO I NEED the car seat adapter? I met a woman yesterday who said she never used it. But I can't imagine not needing it. It was $90 and I already bought it...so if I don't NEED it then I would love to return it

Without it though...what would I do if I was to walk around the mall/park/etc?

Dd was 2 when her little sister was born. If i went for a walk i put the baby in the stroller with the seat all the way back and that snuzzler thing to make it comfy. I strapped her in and went. Didnt take it to the stores much. If i went to the mall i usually had my mom come and my youngest went in the snap and go and my oldest in an umbrella stroller. Or my oldest walked holding onto snap and go. I never bought the adapter and did fine without it bt it depends on how much you plan pn using stroller and for what.

It thinks it all depends on how frequent you will be using it. Will you be in and out of the car a lot? If so than I think the adapter is worth it.
The seat itself is way too big for the baby to sit in.
I have the stroller and I am giving it to my SIL who has a 2 yr old and is due in September. She is getting the adapter so she can just transfer the baby from the car to the stroller.

I never bought it when ds was a newborn I bought the padding the cushion support to keep him comfy, only lasted one month In it


I didn't want to waste my money, my ds was a big boy 75th percentile if your baby is small then get it. Plus I kept baby flat in carriage so I wouldn't hurt his back.

If you use carriage a lot then get it I used it hardly ever didn't go out much with a new born and 18month old

I never bought it! We didn't go out right away bec my DS was born in Jan...but maybe a a coouple of weeks or a month old...when we went out for our first walk...I put the bundle me in the stroller and with the 5 pt harness strap...he wasnt going anywhere!

I have it and def worth using it. It's an investment but I can't picture putting my ds down like that all the time. I also use my stroller a lot.

Absolutley if you plan on being out alone with the two of them, I used the adapter all the time! I wouldn't put a small baby in that stroller and used the attachment for atleast 6 months.

I put mine on and use it a lot! O don't plan on taking it off till ds#2 is out of his infant carrier. I don't see how you could do without with a nb
