ya know . . . when the earth just shook!

I did I was like "why am I so dizzy right now" then my chair started moving and I was like hmmmmmm

I totally thought I was going to pass out, then I saw the water in my water bottle swaying back and forth. So bizarre!!!

right here!!! i haven't moved that fast in MONTHS (running down the stairwell and out of my office building)

Me! I was out reading on my patio and my chair started swaying. I thought it was in my head, so I jumped up. Felt nothing. Sat back down, and felt it again. I was like, "Am I having a seizure? Does this mean I'm going into labor?"

Then my sister called from SoHo about 7 or 8 minutes later and told me that the buildings around her had been evacuated.

Yes! I was waiting to hit the floor. I thought I was really dizzy/lightheaded! My sister felt the same. It freaked me out!

Me! I was sitting on the steps of my deck. I had my eyes closed bc I was so tired but I was waiting for DH to get off the phone. At first I thought I was just drifting off. Then I thought something in me was just pulsing weirdly, not sure what though! DH had to tell me what it was!

I thought 2 things:

1.) I thought my neighbors were going at it pretty hard, until I realized when that happens, the walls don't shake...and 2.) because the walls were shaking I thought I was going itno vertigo.

thank god for facebook feeds or I probably would have went crazy for a good few minutes. lol.

I was in the process of standing up from 2 hours on the couch. I thought I got up to fast. Then I saw the water moving in the fishtank and just thought I was loosing it from lack of stimulation. (bedrest).

Me! I totally thought I was having a weird pregnancy issue!! I was almost relieved to find out it was an earthquake!

Oh, I said to my mom. " Mom do you have the wash machine on down stairs" she was like no, Why??? She thought I was going crazy and for a second I just thought I really was. My chair I was sitting on was shaking.

It was scary though.

same here, i thought i was getting lightheaded but i felt my chair move and walked away from my desk. I looked up and saw the wall shaking, but I thought the verizon tech was being overzealous while checking our phone lines!
It wasnt till 5 min later that my coworker confirmed it was a quake.

Me and another pg girl here totally thoguht we were having a pregnancy induced dizzy spell, until we started hearing everyone else in the office react.

Hahaha I was looking down at my phone at work and all of a sudden felt shaking. I'm thinking damn, I'm not keeping hydrated enough, this pregnancy is getting to me. Then realized maybe it wasn't just me..

haha, I called DH to tell him I wasn't feeling well. I thought I was going to pass out. Funny that facebook confirmed the quake faster than CNN.

Same here. I was thinking "I really need to get up and get some water, because obviously I haven't had enough if I am getting this dizzy..."

Then my boss said "What is that?"...I happened to be on the phone with my mother and when I said I think the building is shaking, she said "I feel it too!"

I felt better knowing it wasn't me!!

Funny enough, my little bean was SOOOO active all morning...then, right after the quake, was super quiet for a good 1/2 hour - 45 minutes!

Oh man me too! Everyone at work was like did you feel that??? All I felt was dizzy so I thought it was just me
