Dutch Wonderland pros... recommend a hotel for early Fall.

Looking to go the first (long) weekend of October.

From the sounds of your trips, we'd plan on being out and about so over the top luxurious accomodations are not necessary but not too basic. Chat Icon

Definitely have to stay in Bird in a Hand>>>such a great place and sooooo kid friendly!!!!

We really liked the double tree, it had a great indoor pool.

Amishview Inn & Suites!

Great breakfast and it's only 10 minutes from DW, but away from that main drag so you really feel like you're in the country.

There is also a beautiful indoor pool.

ETA My all time fav thing in Lancaster is Kitchen Kettle Village- cute area to walk around, delicious baked goods and a free petting zoo area.

We stayed here too. Nice pool and cute crafts for the kids to do.
