Re: Recommended Pregnancy Books?

I have What to Expect When You are Expecting and also What to Eat When You Are Expecting. It has a lot of really great recipes in it. I also like the book, Your Pregnancy Week by Week. It lets you know exactly what is happening with you and your baby. I just bought the Baby Bargains book. A lot of the ladies on here recommended it. It's very helpful when you want to start registering. It explains all of the baby products and which ones are better than others. Just make sure you get the newest edition.

Re: Recommended Pregnancy Books?

A friend of mine said Eat Sleep Poop is a great book to have. She told me this before she had her son so i'm guessing it's about pregnancy and after.

I liked Expecting 411, had alot of good information in it and was very up to date. They even spoke about using Proactiv.

Re: Recommended Pregnancy Books?

I havent bought any books but was given What to Expect When Expecting and the Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy.

I like what to expect when expecting but did not dare to read it my first tri-- I began reading it early on and got totally freaked when everything was about possible miscarriages, so I put it away until Tri II, now I like reading about the changes to teh baby and myself every week/month.

The Girlfriend's Guide came highly recommended and I believe reviewed well as well. Its less technical and more about what you will experience, emotions etc. .. I just started reading it today actually. So far so good.

Babycenter.com is a good source as well.

BabyBargains is helpful for baby registering and getting familiar with different baby products etc.
