maybe silly question but...

my sister just told me we shouldn't eat parmesan cheese...does anyone know if thats true? I know certin soft cheeses and unpasterurized cheeses but i need my parmesan cheese....lol

it's just soft unpasteurized cheese you should be cautious about. enjoy!

and MOST cheeses are pasturized. I have yet to be at place that did not have pasturized cheese. Just ask when at a resturant.

i'm with the others... parm should be fine. it's just soft, blue veined and unpastuerized cheeses.

Parmesan is a hard, pasteurized cheese. It's fine. Enjoy!

Have you seen a block a parm?? It's hard! Plus, IMO- how much does a person *really* use of parm..
