I'm really pregnant!
I'm not sure how excited I should be just yet but I had an appointment this morning to fill out paperwork and the girl at the office who I've been speaking with pretty regularly since my loss asked if I wanted an unofficial sonogram today. My husband was with me so we said yes (she knows this has been very hard for me).
We were both so nervous. We were both shaking, literally. She did an abdominal sonogram and there was a baby with a heartbeat. I didn't look at the screen until I saw my husband start smiling. We got to see the baby move which she said was a great thing to see this early on. Baby looked the right size for my dating and I'm about 8 weeks. Then she got out the doppler and said we could try to hear the heartbeat since I'm so thin. It took her a really long time but we even got to hear the heartbeat with the doppler which was a total shock. Heart is beating nice and fast. She did check for twins because she suspected that there might be two based on my initial beta and progesterone numbers but we only saw one munchkin in there. Hopefully I have a nice and strong baby growing.
I see the doctor for my official appointment next week, but it looks like my due date will be 2/22 give or take a few days.
I don't know how excited I should be because it is still so early. I'm afraid to get too excited but I'm so happy. I am praying that everything keeps progressing. Please keep the good vibes coming.

Thank you girls. I know this stage of pregnancy is nerve wracking for everyone but I feel like I've been on eggshells the last month.
I'm glad I wasn't imagining it  It feels more real now. I just hope there is no heartbreak because I fell in love again

I remember that first sono and I was just like you. So nervous to look at the screen. I was so afraid. Enjoy this moment! This is so fantastic!!!! Congrats!!!!

 How funny, it's close to my birthday too and my Grandpa's!
I am really relieved that I made it this far no problem with everything looking good but I'm still so scared. I can't wait to make is past the first trimester. Between feeling sick and the stress I'm a wreck!
