Bassinet Question
Ok ladies, I need some advice...
I dont think I want to get a full fledged bassinet for our bedroom, I thought about putting the baby in the crib but I know myself and I wont be able to put a newborn in the crib and not be able to watch its every move! I thought about a pack n play for the bedroom with the newborn napper or the co sleeper that converts into a play pen
Any thoughts, advice, what did other ladies use in place of a bassinet for the first few months?
TIA

Re: Bassinet Question
The rock and play got great reviews on babiesrus website. plus, it seems more versatile. I'm putting this on my registry

Re: Bassinet Question
I've been reading the book baby bargains (it's really helpful!) and they don't recommend using the newborn napper that comes with the pack n plays. They say there's a safety concern (SIDS) b/c of the plush fabric. I'm neurotic about all of these things. HTH!

So are we! I love how easy it is to transport, so no matter where we are, LO will always be sleeping in his/her bed!

Re: Bassinet Question
We got the arms reach mini co sleeper, it's a little smaller than a pack n play and we really like it. Goes right up to the bed.

Re: Bassinet Question
I just used the bassinet part of the PNP with DS, mine doesn't have napper part. It worked great- loved that it was wide. My DS was a belly sleeper by 5wks so this gave him plenty of room. Something to keep in mind- belly sleepers.....
