Not too early at all.. infact, the week after my BFP.. week 5, I thought I;d rip open down there.. until like week 9, I had serious, serious issues. I upped my fiber intake by like 200% and water too. I scared to go.. it will get better.. if you can stool softeners.. I didn't, I just ate, whole grain, tons of brown rice, quinoa and drank about 2 gallons of water to get some relief.

well feel blessed bc at 14 weeks, EVERYTHING has been coming out of me. SOrry TMI but I haven't been normal this entire pregnancy. At first I was constipated and now the complete opposite!

Re: a bit TMI....
The BEST cure for constipation for ME was DROWNING myself with a TON of water one morning. I was going for a blood test where they were taking 35 vials , so to prepare, I wanted to be super hydrated. I drank about 60-70oz of water before 7am! Little did I know this would trigger the cure for constipation... and QUICKLY. I had to drive 90mph after the bloodwork was done to make it home to my bathroom in time! And that was after WEEKS of bad constipation!
I also take Colace 3x/day and it's in my prenatal (CitraNatal Assure).
Good luck and feel better!

Re: a bit TMI....
I wanted to make sure that didn't happen! These are my daily rituals that I do to make sure to avoid that, and being almost 38 weeks now I haven't had that problem at all so I think it's working well!
- Drink 1 16oz. glass of V8 low sodium in the morning right after I wake up, usually with my prenatal vitamins - Drink 1 cup of 3/4 decaf coffee in the morning - Eat about 4 Pitted Prunes (they sell them in a little container) about 1 to 2 times a day, I actually think they're delicious - Drink a decent amount of water, I can't drink so much because otherwise I'm running to pee every 3 seconds instead of every 5 minutes

Re: a bit TMI....
All I want out of life right now is this nausea to go away and a nice good poop! I'm so effing constipated I want to cry. And with the nausea, I can't eat veggies, fruits- only melons and apples, all I eat are carbs, carbs and more carbs. And not too much fluids bc they make me want to puke.
There's stool softner in my prenatals, but I'm lazy to take more. I have it in the house, but lazy and forgetful.
I'm going to get fiber one bars and prunes. Hopefully that will help get me back on track.
