Flutters??
This might be a stupid question but what do flutters feel like? I am almost 15 weeks pregnant and I know its to early to feel anything but the past two days I felt something but at the same time I think it might be a my pulse and or gas. Just wondering... thanks for the help!!

I'm curious about this too...when do these "flutters" start??
I'm only 8.5 weeks and my MIL is already asking if I'm feeling flutters...I'm pretty sure it's too early, but it kinda freaked me out since I'm NOT! lol

I started feeling flutters at 18weeks. It felt like there was a butterfly in my tummy or some people describe it like popcorn popping.

Around 16 weeks I started to feel what I would describe as little tickles on my belly. Not really sure if that was flutters or not. Within the last week or so I have began to have stronger feelings that feel more like bubbles. For me, they feel different than gas but I can see why some might mistake it for gas. At this point I can mess with my stomach a bit, push on it a little and within a couple minutes i will usually feel some "bubbles." Im guessing this is all the baby, if not I have no clue what I am feeling! lol

I felt my first flutters at 21 weeks. To me it felt like little muscle spasms. I didn't connect it to being the baby until a day or so later

i am 18 weeks today and every night i try and lay still on my back hoping to feel the flutters... no luck yet... i am so looking forward to this!

Thanks so much for the responses!! I don't know what I am feeling... my husband said it feels like my pulse (is there a pulse in your stomach area?) But I am excited to eventually feel baby!! :)

my dr said you can feel your own heartbeat in your tummy.

my dr said you can feel your own heartbeat in your tummy.
this is so true. you can def. feel a pulse from an artery in your stomach. before being preg. mine was visible from the outside and so strong i had to had scans to make sure it wasnt enlarged!! anyway, i wouldnt try to feel your tummy with your hands bc that would be what you would prob feel at an early point.

I think I just started feeling them @ 17 weeks. It feels like popcorn popping kind of. But i don't know if all the things i feel are flutters b/c 1/2 the time it's followed by gas  lol

that's it yelley!! it feels like popcorn!!  sometimes it feels like someone took a feather and tickled your tummy

I have an anterior placenta, so I didn't feel anything for a while, but when I did - I described it as like a muscle pulsing....I didn't think it felt like a butterfly or popcorn (I guess cause I never had either in my belly...lol)
