What do flutters feel like and when did you FIRST feel them?
I am almost 17 weeks and am wondering what flutters actually feel like. I am anxiously awaiting for this little one to kick me

From what I've gathered, everyone feels these things differently. I definitely felt fluttering around 16-18 weeks. Then I was concerned I wasn't feeling anything, but at the Level II the baby was moving around like crazy on the screen. I didn't feel a thing.
Now, finally at 24 weeks, I feel some light tapping...almost as if the baby is knocking. That seems to come and go. I know everybody is different.

my movement feels like muscle spasms-- and still does, it's just gotten progressively stronger.

I felt them for the first time last week ( 21 weeks)
To me it feels like bubbles- Its soo hard to describe but I am amazed that when I first felt it- I just KNEW it was the baby and not gas or anything else.

I just felt a tiny "flitter" during my 19th week but once I hit 20 I felt a kick every day!

I started feeling what I can only describe as "buzzing" around 16 weeks. Then about a week later I started feeling a tapping sensation. I think it was around 19 weeks that I started feeling REAL kicking.
Now she won't let me sleep

Everyone I know feels something differnet. I felt like a throbbing sensation, a "poke" a "bubble gas like feeling" and all other interesting sensations! at 17 weeks whatever you're feeling is probably your baby!

I never felt flutters, I felt tapping at 17 1/2 weeks, then not again until 19 weeks or so.

i felt it first around 16 weeks - it was more like gas bubbles/poking/rolling than flutters for me.

Im 16 weeks and feeling tiny pokes.. almost feels like spasms.. but a bit different.. and i feel that it might sometimes be moving.. its crazy! It might just be gas, but i like to think its baby

around 16 weeks I felt flutter and was 90% sure it was the baby.. by 18 weeks I started feeling pokes. Now I am 24 weeks, she's been kicking, punch and rolling none stop since.
It's wonderful. You'll know when you feel it

Me too!! It started at about 17-18 weeks. Now at 21 weeks the kicks are getting much stronger and I can actually see my belly move.

i first felt them around 18 or 19 weeks and it felt like a little pang, or like butterfies in your stomach. it also felt like gas!
