Maternity leave ??
So I know most maternity leave policies allow you to go out up to 4 weeks before your due date so my question is....if everything goes well and I wanted to go out 1 week before my due date all I have to do is let my employer know?? or does the doctor still have to sign me out??

You can let your employer know. I just did this for myself. I’m going on maternity leave effective 7/6. But I’m not due until 7/28.

Your Doc will have to sign you out or they will just use it as your vacation time. Maternity leave starts when your OB releases you. I asked my OB to release me July 5th. Friday is my last day and next Friday is my scheduled c-section.
