Drying Rack

Do I really need a drying rack for bottles? I hope to breastfeed but at some point I will definitely be using bottles. I already have a drying rack for dishes so that takes up counter space. I registered for a bottle sterilizer more counter space and I might put out the baby food maker on the counter too. So I am trying to figure out what I really need without an overly crowded counter. My spice rack is going into hibernation to make room for more baby supplies. Anyway what do you ladies think?

Re: Drying Rack

I liked it because I could use it for things other than bottles, like pacifiers, teethers, and little toys that were not dishwasher safe. It's definitely easy to live without though. I would say don't bother with it, and if the time comes and you feel like you could use it, go out and buy one. They're pretty inexpensive!

Re: Drying Rack

Do you NEED one? No, but like pp said it is useful for more than just bottles. I like to rinse the bottles after they come out of dishwasher and then I let them air dry.....don't know why but I do.

Get it later if you think you need it.

Thanks everyone, I switched to the round one posted above. It was smaller then the Dr. Brown's one I had originally registered for. It def is cheap enough so I am not too worried. Thanks for your help.

i didnt get a drying rack, but someone got me a drying mat for bottles - similar to what i have next to my sink now when i wash any dishes. im gonna keep it just so i can keep the bottles separate from the rest of my dishes when i wash by hand.
