Are you talking about the basket things for the parts and nipples? I don't think it would make a difference

Not the basket, the rack that goes on the counter with the pegs that stick up so bottles can dry on it. Image Attachment(s):

Ok, I'm sick,so I am extra stupid today, but do you put the whole thing in the dishwasher or just the rack to clean it?

Kinda off topic, but I did buy one of these and it was kind of a waste. It was much easier to set down a towel and just stack them horizontally. HTH

I never put mine in the dishwasher. If the base got grungy from drippage, I just rinsed it with a little warm water and dish soap. I don't think BPA would be a concern here.
