random question - can you feel the baby's heartbeat?
A friend of mine is about 5 or 6 weeks ahead of me and she posted on fb how she can now officially feel the baby's heartbeat and sometimes see the belly raise bc of the heartbeat.
i could be wrong, but from everything I read it is not possible to ever feel the baby's heartbeat through your belly. It could be your own heartbeat, the baby's hiccups or kicking. I especially think it would be a crazy strong heartbeat to actually be able to see it!
Am I wrong?

I feel my heartbeat or blood, and occasionally will see my stomach rising to that beat, not the babies.

Yeah, I dont think thats possible. Could the baby have the hiccups, which are rhythmic and she is mistaking that for the HB?

Its probably hi-cups shes feeling...I remember when I 1st felt that pulsating beat I was like "what the heck it feels like a heartbeat???" I had no clue they get hicups in there and you can feel it like that .. thats when I Googled and found out it was hi-cups (def does feel exactly like a heart beat tho)

i would definitely say it's more than likely her own pulse - i feel mine a lot more now.
but i will admit, i will put my hand on my belly to make sure. LOL.
