Re: tuna fish

I've had it about 1x per month, when I get a strong craving. Lately, I've had an aversion for it so I think I am over it.

Re: tuna fish

I wanna say that chunk light has less mercury than solid white albacore. Unfortunately, solid white is the one most people prefer. But I'm also pretty sure that most restaurants seem to serve chunk light.

I've had it 3x so far... and I'm 29 wks along now. I try to avoid it, but sometimes I just have to give in! (Hello, Friendly's Tuna Melt!!!)

Re: tuna fish

AT almost 21 weeks, I have had it I think 3 times...

Normally I eat solid white, but my OB said the light is better because it usually has less mercury than the white. I do think most restaurants order commerically, which is usually light...

i've had it from a deli, from a diner and from subway...It was definitely light every time...

Re: tuna fish

Re: tuna fish

I've avoided it this entire pregnancy, but last pregnancy I ate it a couple of times a month.

Re: tuna fish

I eat it about once a week as well. I love tuna fish, and giving up tuna steaks and raw tuna is hard enough.

Re: tuna fish

my dr told me any fish is ok 1x a month, and shellfish is ok as much as I want it, so I'm following that. I might have had fish 2x a month

Re: tuna fish

I eat it about once a week. most stores carry the light because it is cheaper so it is ok.
