I feel like I might just do it lol...
I am Team Green, right now.
I feel like my dreams lately are driving me crazy, and I now feel the need to know what I am having.
I originally wanted to, a long time ago, then I got pregnant, read all these articles about baby surprises, and felt that I have never not wanted to know everything, I think I can hold off for this. (had to know about getting engaged, my shower, etc, i always like planning ahead).
I keep having gender dreams. I dream there's a little 'me' running around my apartment, and then just last week, I dreamt I was getting as getting a sonogram, and saw a that i was having a boy.
We scheduled a Level II in two weeks. I have some time but I wanted to schedule it. I can always cancel it if I feel. But part of me now wants to know what I am having.
Anyone else start off team green and change there mind????

Sorry to crash, but just wanted to say the Level II is a very important sono and not just to tell you the gender. Regardless of whether you stay team green or not, that shouldn't impact if you keep the appointment!!
Good luck!!

We were so torn as I had posted about this earlier this week. Well we caved last minute when the sono tech asked if we wanted to guess based on the screen shot. I am so thrilled with my decision to find out and now let the shopping begin!!!!!

Re: I feel like I might just do it lol...
I was always big on being team but my DH couldn;t imagine how I could be so big on keeping our baby's gender a surprise until the end. I am a huge planner, so it was a surprise for my family as well. Anyway, DH really wanted to know and I felt bad, so I figured when we do go for our Level II, we ask the tech to write the gender down and put in an envelope... so if DH wants to know, he can find out. Well, well, well.. fast forward a week or so later.. DH liked the surprise idea.. and we are somewhat settled on a name. And another couple friend of ours is also due in November, and they are so he's coming around. Our appt is next week.. we'll see if he decides to change his mind then.. but so far going strong on

Re: I feel like I might just do it lol...
Here's our story:
We started out as Team Green. My parents are very old school and they refuse to know the gender in advance and hate when people announce before births. I was ok with being Team Green til the end but DH had his reasons. We are OOS so when we have our parents come to visit right away, we wanted the nursery to be 100% complete (neutral theme was not an option with our decorating idea).
So, we both compromised and we went through with the Level II without finding out. When we went to our 31 week sono I had a big envelope with me. I had the sono tech put the gender reveal in the envelope so we can open it on our own time. That weekend we had gone on a weekend trip with my parents so we didn't bother. The envelope sat on our kitchen counter for a full week. Then once we were home together, I made a romantic dinner and after we finished we sat next to each other and opened the envelope. It was nice to have our special moment rather than me laying on the table with the tech right there. I let out my true emotions - happiness of course. But just knowing now made everything seem that much more real.
Let me tell you, I have gotten the bedding from BRU and some accessories, 2 outfits. We were able to order the wall decal for the nursery and get started with the painting.
NO ONE knows except for us. And only a select few know the names we picked out for boy/girl. It's also been nice to talk to the baby and call them he/she when we are alone. So, we might not be Team Green but I'm calling it "Team Yellow" because the gender reveal will still be a surprise - just to everyone else.

I was , but DH really wanted to find out. It was important to him, so we found out, and now I'm so excited we did.

Re: I feel like I might just do it lol...
With my first two, we were not team at all. We both wanted to find out right from the start and we did. I didn't think I could ever not find out if given the option.
Somehow, I had a change of heart and am team with this one. I don't know if I will make it the distance, although having made it through the Level II has taken a lot of the pressure off so I think I will (I'm only 22 weeks though).
In any case, I can see how someone would change their mind, it is so tempting and the information is right there at the level II so it can be hard.
Speaking as someone who found out with the first 2, it is no less magical finding out-it's just a different kind of magic.
