Update on Me....Baby coming early and a pic (lil long)
i havent been on in a few days but here's what's going on...
i have GD and im due June 30 but both my OB and my High risk dr mentioned wanting to induce me at 39 weeks due to the GD.
i went to the doctor yesterday for my weekly non stress test and bio physical and my fluids were showing borderline low so i had to get re-tested today.
today's non stress test showed i was having contractions. my fluid levels got higher which is good but the baby wasnt moving for a half hour (the bio phys checks for movements so they need to see some). they almost sent me to the hospital today due to that but then the doc came in and finally got it to move.
They have me schedule for induction next Thursday the 23rd. i have a doctor appointment next tues and thurs. hopefully my fluids stay ok until then.
So my cub will be here in about a week!! here's a pic of my cat from last night. she NEVER approaches my belly but last night decided to not only sleep on it but started licking my belly too. the baby was kicking like crazy under her face. they say cats are intuitive so i told DH that it mean the baby is coming earlier and sure enough thats what i found out today!

Awww!!! That is such a SWEET picture!!!
I wish you the absolute best!! Staying hydrated and drinking TONS of water is SOOOOO important with fluid levels, so make sure you drink a LOT - and just when you think you can't drink anymore - DRINK MORE!
 and  heading your way for a healthy delivery! I wish you the best! Soooo exciting you'll meet your LO soon!

aww that's soo cute!!
my one cat has napped on my belly.. but the baby never moved when she's done it. So IDK if the cat knows or not. I have 2 cats and i always wonder if they know or not.. or sense anything.
I didn't realize they have to see some movement. I guess that's why my stomach took a pounding today. There was no getting this baby to move!! And she kept trying. Eventually she said she saw a tiny twitch. I didn't really see it though.
It must be so nice to have a date!! Good Luck!!!

are you getting the BPP's too? they check my fluid, check the breathing pattern and then look at certain areas of th ebody for movements

Lately, it's been the dr doing the sono's for me.
The dr usually checks the size of head stomach and leg bone as well as the fluids and weight. Today, was the sono tech and she checked everything the dr checks and in addition to that she measured and looked at her organs... her bladder, kidneys, etc.
I never noticed the dr checking for movements. But he might have just seen them happen while doing the sono. Today she was NOT MOVING FOR ANYTHING!! I mean this sono tech lady was really pounding and twisting my stomach and couldn't get her to move!!
IDK about breathing patterns.. but they do the non stress test where they check for her heartrate and my contractions.
the sono and non stress test are both weekly.
ETA: but now he wants me back in less than a week.. he wants me in like Mon/Tues.
Possibly c section late next week, so maybe thurs/fri. We might actually be there together!!
I'm still having slight cramping... do you have that at all. LIke on and off slight cramos.

she was in pretty much position last thurs (sideways but head down). Since then, she has toally turned breech and now she's butt first. They won't do a vaginal delivery that way. The dr said it's basically a c section now and they are going to schedule a date with me.
I think today they saw I might be in labor and her heart rate was dropping or something... along with her being breech... so they sent me to have a c section.
The induction is right.. that's what they would do for you... and for me up until today when they discovered she moved totally out of position. So as of now that's no longer an option for me.

I'm going to DO MY BEST!!! Ahh! I really want the end of next week. I don't want to wait till the beginning of the following week. I'm freaked out by today since the non stress test showed some issues.. so now that's in the back of my mind. Plus they got my hopes up and then a huge let down!!

Adorable picture! The morning before DD was born my dog got up on my bed and was snuggling with me. He never did this normally bc our bed was so high. He must have had some kind of intuition, bc my water broke that afternoon.
