Ppl need to shut up
I never got the idiotic comments as much as I did with this pregnancy. I carry small with both pregnancies. I'm tall and avg build and we make small children. DD was 6 10 and I'm thinking that this baby will be even smaller....I keep getting from EVERYHWERE I go, "you're due in 3 weeks" is everything ok with the baby, you're so small..UM NO I'm not. I've gained 29lbs my legs and azz are massive literally all my weight went there I can't stand the site of my legs and it makes me feel like sh!t that my belly is so small and that it couldn't have gone to the actual baby!!!!!!
Sorry for the vent, but ppl are just idiots

I've come to the conclusion that people can be real idiots. If you're too big they say something, if you're too small they say something. If you pick a "weird" name everyone has an opinion.
People need to get a life!

I get the same question, I am 38 weeks and I am "tiny" according to everyone. I carry small, I am a small person. I take it as a compliment, everyone says I look great

ITA with you!! i've been told i'm carrying small too. you never thought that would be an insult, but people have a way of making it sound like it is. and i've gained the SAME amount of weight so I usually just say well, it's going somewhere (also think my asss, but whatever).
people are totally annoying.

thats what it is, I mean at first yah its a nice compliment but then I get the is the baby OK, and then I look in the mirror and see where it really went

I got that today. The person said you look just like me. Perfect opportunity to for me to return the comment....my reply "well it sux that you look 6 months preggo".

LOL What was their reaction to THAT?!
And to the original post, I'm carrying small according to everyone as well. To the point I asked my doctor if I was too small. She assured me I am exactly where I am supposed to be. A co-worker even asked me if I was eating enough. So now when people make the "small" comment I just say "well my doctor said everything is great".

I hear ya. I too have a small belly at 31 wks baby was 3lbs 15 oz. Which is totally a normal size. But everyone insists on saying you're 8 months now & your belly isnt big at all. I answer them maybe im big enough on the inside. HAHAHAHAHAHa

lol... the security guard at my work said I was getting "heavy" then apologized a few days later for calling me fat! He never fails to comment! Grrr!

I have actually been fortunate that people are complimentary and tell me my face is still the same, I'm all belly, my ankles didn't swell BUT for the past few weeks I keep getting people asking why I am still working and why don't I stay home

first - sour cream? 
second - this was yelling, across the lobby, which opens on to the building cafe where countless people could hear him. I HATE HIM!!!

i had the opposite with DS - I was HUGE and constantly got, "are you sure its not twins/triplets", "you arent due yet?"
I will NEVER understand why when a woman is pregnant it becomes fair game to comment on her body, her weight, her shape and/or the size of her. Its not acceptable when a woman is not pregnant, being pregnant doesnt make it suddenly OK.....I will never understand.

I received the same comments with my last pg. Even my doctors thought I was small. Well DD was 8.6lbs. The doctor that delivered me was shocked.

Ugh -- security guards are teh worst!!!!! The female ones at work are always making rude comments to me about how huge I am, and after a day of hearing my students tell me I was going to break the desk, my butt was huge, and that I was fat, but cute fat, one security guard was looking at my lunch and going, "Damn! You are going to eat all of that!" Mind you I was eating a small salad, a sandwich, and an orange. I flipped, and was like"I wish everyone would myob and stop obsessing over what I am eating!" People are so annoying.
