May be TMI but....
have you read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy?
It's a comical read. However, she talks about the "Blue Twinkies"
I just noticed that I have them now. This is lovely!

that's really funny bc just this morning I was talking to DH about how there are all these little things no one tells you about...and I heard that Jenny McCarthy's book talks about those things so I was saying how I wanted to get it!

It's so true. She mentions alot of things noone talks about! It's really funny though. I liked the book. I read it in one day.
It's a thin paperback.
Get it! lol

Lol that book was hysterical! When i was in hospital at 29 weeks they filled me with so much fluids for 9 days when i went home I had crazy swelling to the point i had to take a mirror ( belly was inn the way) not blue but holy crap i thought it was gonna last till the end.  the beautiful wonders of pregnancy!

I loved this book. I read it in like 2 hours when I first found out I was pregnant.

its a pretty good read, I read it in one day, its a quick book.
I guess I had heard so much on these boards before so nothing surprised me but she is funny!
Ilove how she talks about trowing the vcr remote at her DH
I might totally get flamed for this but did anyone else think about the lifestyle she had ie-eating so terrible maybe could have had some effect on her son? We will NEVER know the answer but I do wonder.

No not all women get it, but I did notice more ummmm swelling the closer it got to d-day. DO NOT look AFTER you have the baby...it's not blue twinkies anymor eit's 2 blue hoagie rolls
