Well THAT was nervewracking!
Just had my 10w6d OB appt, and it was the first time they looked for the HB with the doppler. It took her like 10 mins to find it. I was SOOOOO nervous! Turns out the baby is just up higher than usual so she was looking lower where you would expect a baby to be at 10w6 days!
WHEW! I wanted to die there for a second.

That happened to me once during my last pregnancy! I swear my heart was in my throat!! So scary!

Same EXACT thing happened with my 2nd pg! I knew there was a HB bc I have a doppler and I heard it myself about 30 minutes before my appt, but same thing, he was higher than expected.

i love that you went back and added the last part. Just in case I thought you might have been cheering the fact that they couldnt find it and I was having a heart attack

awww the first time I went to the OB I was 6weeks and they couldnt find the heartbeat and I had to go back a week later and that was the longest week of my life so I know how you must of felt for those 10 minutes!
Glad there was a heartbeat!
