need a quick answer please
i'm going out to eat for lunch in about 10 minutes, and i called the restaurant to ask if the cheese is pasteurized (fresh mozz cheese) and they said no, its fresh?! so now i dont want to eat the cheese, but its an italian restaurant so not many options.
is it ok if its melted?

melted should be fine because the heat would kill any listeria or other bacteria. most things are fine in moderation anyway.

just wanted to add that fresh mozz is made with milk, that is most likely pasturized.
