That's awesome! Well the pic is, not the junk. So funny, I would totally hang that in my living room.
They left a bunch of junk, and they took all the curtains & shades. I hated them.

No, it was an estate sale, so everything was gone when we saw it. The owner's adult children came by the day of the closing with pictures from their childhood that they shared with us. It was nice to see the house in its original condition and lots of Christmas pics as well as summer time ones from 40-50 years ago. They wished us well and promised to visit every now and again. (It was very emotional for them.) They did come back once in the past 4 yrs while I was pg with DS and they were so happy with all the renovations we did. It made them feel good to know that a new family is creating memories in their home.

we recieved a bottle of wine and a card
they also left behind the kitchen curtains i liked since we were leaving the kitchen the same way they left it

We got an attic full of cloth diapers from when her children were babies (they are all in their 50's now) and a ton of other junk that took an entire dumpster to clean. We also were left with a dishwasher full of dishes

Our sellers left us a pile of bricks. Thanks. And they took all of the lightbulbs and the u bend from the kitchen sink.
When I turned the water on in the kitchen sink it flooded the kitchen and I started crying!
