Desperate for Baby Shower Favor Help!!
So, my shower is 3 weeks away and I can't believe how much my mom and I are stressing over the favors. It's really ridiculous.
Currently, we're going to have bags of cotton candy in the color scheme of what gender the baby is (I don't know the gender yet... I'll find out that day).
But, that's not really the main favor. That will be at each person's place setting announcing "It's a Girl!/Boy!".
But I'd like to also have the guests have some type of momento that's not edible to keep.
I'm not a fan of babyish items that can only be used my someone who has a baby and thrown out by anyone else... but I do feel like there should be a "baby" tie to the item.
We were partial to baby button soaps or duckie soaps, but they're SO tiny, we feel like it will look silly. We liked the idea of baby letter openers, but some are too tiny and others we like are discontinued on every site we look at (of course).
Any suggestions for a favor that guests will truly enjoy and get use out of?

I don't like favors since they always seem to get thrown out and not used.. so when it came to the baby shower I wanted a cute practical favor.
We did 4 ice cream bowls in pastel baby colors. They were definetly a hit, everyone loved them! Image Attachment(s):

I was actually thinking of those! (I think I've looked at every possible baby favor there is!).
Did you do one bowl per guest? Did you fill them with anything?

I was the same way. I just don't like "waste" which is silly, I know, but I love what I consider "practical favors" -- ex: for our wedding, we gave out reusable shopping bags as our favor.
For my baby shower, we gave away these spice jars that I got at Ikea and filled with wrapped candy. So they're reusable if you have any sort of need for a spice jar (you could use it for rubber bands or paper clips or something, too). But I'm sure most people just weren't sure what to do with them after. At least I felt good that I tried.

We did the set of 4 wrapped in a box. and since they were wrapped up, we didn't put anything in them.

I did cookie favors also, and used the same person that Ayne11 used. Edible favors are ALWAYS a hit!

Cookie favors are a great idea. They can be tailored to your theme and since you don't know the gender yet you can do gender neutral cookies. I am using The Cookie Lady for my little guys Baptism. She has been great to work with especially since I don't have an exact date for the Baptism yet. Here is her info but she is also a vendor on here

We did small terra cotta pots with seeds for the christening. I thought it was cute and useful. The pots were inexpensive at Michael's. We used herb seeds so that you could just grow it on the window sill.

What about some kind of flower. Last year around this time we went to a baby shower where she announced a girl by having pink geraniums in a cute $1 pot from Target as favors. Everytime I saw it in my yard I thought of them

That was the favor at my shower! I loved them, and I think most people thought it was cute. However, I don't know how many people actually used them.

This is adorable!!
I just went to a shower a few weeks ago and there was no real favor. Great 3 course meal and alcohol. I don't think anybody cared, I sure didn't.
