Spotting ....

I will be 6 weeks tommorrow and this morning I had very light brown spotting. When I wiped. It was early this morning and since then nothing.

Has anyone experienced this? Should I call my OB? I am going crazy here thinking the worse. I haven't been feeling too many symptoms (slight nausea, bitter taste in mouth, sore boobs here and there) and of course today I feel nothing.

Re: Spotting ....

brown spotting is usually nothing but just old blood. so as long as its brown and you dont have cramping i wouldnt worry.

i would call your dr just to give you some piece of mind.

Re: Spotting ....

I'm sure it's nothing, but my OB told me to call him when I see any spotting. Can't hurt! At least for peace of mind!

Good luck! Chat Icon

Re: Spotting ....

I had spotting early on. My dr said its normal but to let her know if it got worse or was accompanied with cramps. I would call just to ease your mind.

spotting is completely normal. as long as you do not have cramps and it is not heavy you should be fine.

I had spotting last week (at 5weeks) for only a day and it was very light and only when I wiped.

Re: Spotting ....

I would call the dr and try for an appt just to have peace of mind.

I did that when I was spotting at around 7 weeks. All was fine. But had I not gone I would have been FREAKING out!!!
I was spotting brown blood for a little over a week... and no cramping really combined with it.

I bled a few weeks later and then spotted after that. All was still fine.
