What do you think he meant?
I really should have just asked but I didnt. I went to stonybrook OB today for my level 2 and he said that everything looked great! He said there is 10% of the test that is hard to get if the baby isnt right. (I guess either cooperative or too small/positionedwrong...who knows). I did see him do the brain and the heart and kidneys and extremities. What do you think is left? I have to go back in 2 weeks for the last 10%. Any ideas?

I had to go back bc they could not get the corpus callum (totally messing up what it is--top of head) maybe that??

Was this at stonybrook? He specifically said "most women have to come back for this part of the test".

Was this at stonybrook? He specifically said "most women have to come back for this part of the test".

I go to Stony Brook OBGYN and I haven't had to go back with either pregnancy (DS #1 and this pregnancy). Both DS' were measuring a week ahead though so I'm not sure if that plays into it.
I would go back...I never got the sense they'd ahve you do something they didn't think you should. I see Dr. Porte and I'm high risk and he's very thorough. Maybe they just want to err on the side of caution with the 10%. Just a guess though. Good luck!

I didnthave to go back either. But they have to scan every part of teh body. They have to make sure they get all four parts of the heart & the blood flow. Spinal things. There is so much. That is why the test can be long. In any case my Tech was like no way you are here until we get it all. I wa shappy to get it all done. It took about an hour to get all of it.

I screwed that up...I meant university asscoiates. Not the practice with Dr porte.
