r any of u other ladies scared or is it just me

Im not trying to freak anyone one by my post ...but as some of you who have read my past posts ...i went into pre term labor at 29 weeks i spent a lil over a week in the hospital . I have 1 cm left to my cervix and i am currently home on bed rest.
I will be 32 weeks tomorrow and go back to my ob for another internal sono...Chat Icon

Well I am basically the biggest baby about to have a baby lol....i have no tolerance for pain....i plan on doing a vaginal delilvery with an epi ...even though i am pertiffied of the pain of contractions ...freaked out to get the epi and catheter since i wont be able to get up, and beyond scared to actually push her out and tear or get cut.....on the other hand im scared to possibly end up getting a c sec and worried ill feel everything and pass out. (did i mention i am on bed rest and have way too much time on my hands thinking of all this stuff)...i have offically banned myself from google.

plus i live with my dh in a one bedroom apartment my shower isnt till june 27th and we have nothing here for the baby i didnt even pack y hospital bag yet.
I have no clue whre to start what to pack ...what to order to have in the house for the first few weeks if baby arrives early(i know if she comes this early she may not be aloud home for a lil bit but i still want somethings here to be somewhat prepared for her ..like i guess onsies, wipes diapers, my mother in law bought the bassinet off my reg and my mother bought the car set fo if i need them i know i have that at least but thats it we didnt get spit up rags blankets nothing.

well now that i took up so much time wiht my rant i hope you ladies are all feeling well and enjoying your weekend! Thank you all for your past posts and advice...this page reallly helps alot.

I pretty much have all the same fears nearly word for word but I think it's totally normal to be worrying about these things.

I have been dealing with bp issues since around 24 weeks and on high doses meds and at 32 weeks am worrying that at any moment if this will become an emergent delivery and I have nothing yet for the baby. I have started buying some necessities like baby powder for peace of mind even though know if baby comes that early they wont be home for weeks anyways...

As for the delivery I am petrified but I have seen people prepare and take classes when in the end they had emergency c sections or things didn't go as planned and preparation went out the window. I think things will happen naturally and you have little control in the end, at least that is what I'm telling myself.

I think what you are feeling/thinking is totally normal...you just have more time to do it! LOL

If it makes you feel better, my OB told me that because I my shortened cervix, when it comes time for labor, it will be easier with less pushing because there is minimal cervix to work through. THERE IT IS! The rainbow through the storm of our shortened cervix debacles!

I'm terrified!! Chat Icon
and 32 weeks now.. as it's getting closer i'm getting more and more nervous, but also excited and anxious to finally have her in my arms.
I really believe all the pain and drama will be worth it all once I see her face so i'm trying not to drive myself crazy thinking about it!
