Ikea poang rocker instead of glider?
I haven't been overly impressed with the bulkiness and $$$ of all the gliders I've seen so far and was looking at the poang rocker at Ikea. I know I'd need a pillow since there is no fabric on the armrest but I was wondering if anyone has this or considered it? eta: product price ranges from $139-200 depending on cushion fabric quality i think

We got a regular poang for this and all I would say is go test it if you can because ours sits low and that can make you nervous when getting up/sitting down with baby

Re: Ikea poang rocker instead of glider?
we have that rocker in brown leather and it is very comfortable. It is in our family room and we plan to use it for the baby although we dont have a LO yet. We have been debating buying another one for the nursery too. The only thing I would say is you might want to use a boppy or pillow for support bc the armrests r hard. The rocking motion is very soothing...it is kind of like a bouncing motion.
ETA: we have the footrest too which is very nice

A lot of girls on the Bump have bought this. I plan on getting the Hemmes dresser and will look at the dressers then.
