The baby hasn't moved since Monday...UPDATE
I tried everything, i even had a massive bowl of ice cream last night and last did nothing to make him move, it usually does. I called and they want to see me at 1pm....im nervous something is wrong...
UPDATE:
I went to the appointment and they found his heartbeat on the doppler and she said it was on target and strong but noticed i was having contractions and i told her how crampy i have been. I am now on bedrest at least until my ultrasound on Wednesday with my OB and re-evaluate then, she is afraid i am close to pre-term labor so on bed rest i will be. Good thing i did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen before i left. She wanted my DH to stay home from work tomorrow to help me with DD but that can't happen so i think tomorrow will be an encore of sesame street. Hopefully things calm down and nothing happens but next step is medication to stop the contractions or hospitalized bedrest. Let's hope it doesn't come to that...

I know how you feel. This happened to me the other week. I was so scared. When I went to th DR. they did a sono and he was facing inward so I couldn't feel him. Everything was ok!
Hang in there. I'm sure everything will be fine.

I had this happen to me once with my son, 3 days. I cried to my husband and sister on the third day. I was petrified. I went to ob....sec that they did sono, he moved. I think it was the cold gel on my belly made me shiver, and made him move also.
 everything is ok!

How many weeks are you? I remember I went thru a phase around 25 weeks when she would have a stretch of quiet days and it would drive me nuts. Its possible your LO is in a position that is making it hard for you to feel him move.

How far are you? I know before 28 weeks movement can come and go...Good luck at the doctor's. I hope everything is ok!!

I've been plagued by movement issues during this whole pregnancy due to an anterior placenta.
I even ended up in L&D because my dr office sent me there since I couldn't feel any movement for a few days. Once they monitored her they could hear the movements but I couldn't feel them AT ALL!! Then they told me about the placenta being in the way.
Movement would at times pick up and then teeter off. It's definitely nerve racking. I have a heartbeat monitor that I use just in case I need to make sure things are OK and to calm my nerves. L&D told me not to rely on that... but honestly due to the movement issues sometimes I just need to see that her heart is beating. I understand the doppler can't monitor her heartbeat the same way they can there but it does ease my nerves to hear that it's still beating.
There's a good chance the baby is facing your back and that's why you aren't feeling anything. The same thing also happened to me... at one of my sono's they saw the baby was facing my back and that was during a no movement stint.
How far along are you? That might also have something to do with it. It ends up being less spacious in there and the movements are supposed to somewhat dwindle towards the end... or at least that's what I hear.
