Decorating nursery
When did everyone start buying things for LO like furniture, nursery items and any other cute things you saw? I want to at least find out the gender before I buy anything but after that not sure how long to wait.

Ordered crib, started painting nursery and bought a couple cute onsies around 28 weeks. That's all I've done really up to 31 weeks.

We've finished painting her room and put the furniture in...that's all we're doing until after the shower, then I can see what she got and what I'd like to buy her. I was given strict instructions not to buy ANYTHING until after my shower lol!

we bought furniture and re-did the carpet and paint in the room around 26 weeks i think. i wanted the room done before my shower at 30 weeks.

I had all the furniture picked out and purchased by 16 weeks. I wanted all gender neutral anyways.
At 26 weeks, I havent done one thing with the nursery and the furniture is still in boxes waiting for DH to return from deployment in a month.

Yeah, same here. All I'm planning on doing now is order the furniture (I'm 24 weeks). After my shower, I plan on getting everything else she still needs.

I started right before the 30w mark I would say.
I started with buying the art stuff i wanted to hang.
I put my furniture on my registry... just to have it there so I knew what I wanted to buy... I didn't think anyone would buy it.
I just had the furniture delivered last week... I was just shy of 34 weeks when it came.
We just hung stuff now at 35w.
my shower isn't for another 2 weeks... so hopefully we get it all done JUST intime.

I'm just about 30 weeks -- and we just painted the nursery at 28/29 weeks. And our furniture arrives on Tuesday!!! Can't wait to see it!!  You have plenty of time
