Feta Cheese-Yes or No?

Ughh I am so torn, I am craving the Greek Salad from Panera..
What do you all think, is it safe with the feta?

I would imagine its pasturized, right? I ate feta once before and it was fine.

All the feta cheese I have come into contact with thus far has been pasteurized so I would imagine a big chain like that is as well. Just ask.

Re: Feta Cheese-Yes or No?

maybe this isnt the best or easiest idea but maybe you can bring some from home that you know is pasturized and add it yourself??
Just a suggestion.

Re: Feta Cheese-Yes or No?

i would just ask them. If they aren't sure then I would probably skip it to be safe!

Re: Feta Cheese-Yes or No?

Ask if it is pasturized. Everywhere I have asked has been a YES so far, even the most authentic Greek cafe which I was SHOCKED AT!

Im one to throw caution to the wind. Look what was served at my baby shower for Abby. Note, all three of these women were PG in this picture and now have healthy 2 year olds as well:

Re: Feta Cheese-Yes or No?

Yes. It is NYS law that restaurants only serve pasturized cheese, so indulge! If you feel better, ask about pasturization!
