I have my level 1 tomorrow. Is it strictly an external sono?

Level I should be external only. They do an ultra sound on your belly.

Should be external - At least shave a little off the top - if that makes any sense.

should all be external, unless they want to check your cervix. I've heard of some Drs wanting both, depending on what the external shows. Shave just in case!

It totally depends on your practice. Madonna does both. My OB in Bellmore did both as well. Level II is the only one I know of that is always external.

mine have always been both, every appointment. they do quick internal to check cervix.

It may be external but I remember the tech telling me that it is possible she may also need to do an internal as well.

I'm usually always well kept but lately it's been a pain (and I don't even have a belly yet), so I'm a little behind on the upkeep.
