Boats?

So, Im 11w along , no complications so far, and was planning on going on a boat this weekend (like a 20 footer), and it occurred to me that it can get kind of bumpy sometimes, do you think its a bad idea i.e. dangerous for the baby? Anyone have any experience iwth this?
Should I even call the doctor to ask?

Thanks!

Re: Boats?

as long as your healthy and having a good pregnancy I would think it would be fine. Just hope you don't have any morning sickness b/c mixing that with sea sickness doesn't sound good Chat Icon

I never had any morning sickness with either pregnancies so I think it would be fine. Mention to your OB if you're not sure

Re: Boats?

I went boating a lot with DS and he was just fine. Plus you have to remember, they are floating around in fluid, so while you can be bounced around pretty good, they are still just floating around in water and the impact isnt NEARLY as rough for them.

Re: Boats?

def. call your OB and ask, mine specifically told me when I was there last week that he did not want be on a boat because of the bouncing - but every doctor is different, so yours may be fine with it.
