I never used to, but I also had a friend who flew over the backseat into the windshield. She was fine, but that story was enough to make me start wearing it.

i actually feel less safe in the backseat than the front, so i usually do
it has to do with my lack of control over the driving and sometimes lack of trust over who is driving

Yes, because if I am in the backseat that means I am sitting with DD and I want to make sure that if anything happens I am in the best position to help her and not thrown around and have to worry about myself.

I do now.
About 10 years ago I was a backseat passenger of a car that flipped over. I woke up with my head lodged between the windshield and the dashboard. The scars on my cheek and the bottom of my chin are constant reminders of how lucky I really am.
When the paramedic who brought me to the hospital stopped in to see me, he asked if I was wearing my seatbelt. I told him no. He told me that he probably wouldn't have either.

Always.
And if you're in my vehicle? You're wearing your seatbelt regardless of where in my vehicle you are sitting. If you refuse to wear one? You're walking or driving yourself.
1 - a human being can become a projectile in a crash, killing or injuring a belted occupant.
2 - you can be fully or partially ejected from the vehicle even in a relatively minor crash.

Always and so must anyone riding in my car.
My friends and family used to always fuss and complain and the reason above is the one I use to convince them. I don't want THEM hurting ME or anyone else in the car because they aren't wearing their seatbelt. For some reason, that works better than telling them that they themselves could be injured or ejected from the car 
A few years ago a UHaul truck rear ended my dad and brother. If my brother, who was in the backseat, hadn't been wearing his seat belt, he would have probably been ejected. He did need surgery on his knee from where it hit the passenger seat in front of him, but that's way better than what could have happened. he actually said that my anal-ness about seatbelts is why he was even wearing it thankfully.

I would have said no about 2yrs ago.
But its the law in Texas.. They DO give out tickets to backseat riders. So yes, I wear it.

I almost never sit in the backseat of the car because I get really bad motion sickness...the last time I was in the back seat was in September. When I'm in the back, no I don't wear a seat belt. It makes me feel even sicker when I do. Yes, I know that's an awful excuse, but like I said, I rarely sit in the back anyway.

Strangely enough, I wear it if I'm in the back of a normal car but I hardly put it on in the back of a cab.

Yes...I heard a statistic (not sure the exact #s) in driver's ed that really stuck with me...it had to do with how many deaths from those riding in the backseat could have been prevented if they worse a seatbelt. That being said I almost never sit in the back of a car because I have bad motion sickness...but if I do I buckle up, and when I have passengers in my backseat I won't go anywhere unless they are buckled.
