Oopsie! Has this happened to anyone?
After BDing, DH and I had a condom accident. What's the chance of a pregnancy happening? This happened during ovulation. I'm scared sh*tless now!
Has anyone had this happen?

nobody can tell you the chances...it's different for everyone depending on alot of factors. unfortunately You'll just have to wait til about 12 dpo and test

I would say pretty high if you're definitely ovulating! Both times I got pregnant it was on the first try (but it really depends on your body).
Before we were married we had an oopsie but I wasn't sure if I was ovulating so I went the plan B route.

Yep. ITA. If you dont want this baby then get Plan B. Your chances are pretty high at getting pregnant if you are around ovulation time. That being said, there are still A LOT of factors that can be against you getting pregnant. Only way to know is to wait it out and test in about 12 days or so.

Re: Oopsie! Has this happened to anyone?
I disagree with those that are saying your chances of getting PG are good bc you are ovulating right now. Even when all the factors line up correctly (timing BD, ovulating, everything in working order, etc.), the chance of a healthy couple conceiving are 25%- that's not a "good" chance, if you ask me.
ETA: Obviously, being that you are ovulating, your chances are higher than if you were not ovulating. But still, your chances are not "good" IMO.

Re: Oopsie! Has this happened to anyone?
Even though it took me 5 months of peeing on OPKs and timing , I would still say your chances are pretty good.
You just never know and if you aren't ready to take that chance, I would go buy Plan B.

It only takes one time, so yes of course it's possible.
We got pregnant first time, so it happens.

Thank ladies, I think DH and I will let nature take its course. We're scared at the prospect but can handle a 2nd child if that happens...

Re: Oopsie! Has this happened to anyone?
I just want to add that Plan B can cause side effects such as severe period cramps, nausea, and vomiting...so I would only use it if you REALLY can't get pregnant right now (I worked in a Pharmacy and this is what the pharmacist always mentioned to people buying it).

As someone who conceived while using birth control, I suggest taking Plan B if you do not want to be pregnant right now.

Never happened to me, but of course there is a chance you could get pregnant from an oopsie. A friend of mine was on bc & used a condom and STILL got pregnant with her second child.
