0-3 months VS. 3 months??!!
Ok I am going through the babies clothes. I have clothes that say 0-3 months and clothes that just say 3 months.
When I check the tags they all say the weight for both is 8-12lbs?
So really does that mean the plain 3 months can be wore and fit 0-3 months?

3 months = 0-3
6 months = 3-6

Ok so basically all the 0-3 and just plain 3 months are exactly the same lol. So now I have so much to choose from to bring to hospital lol.. I wonder if I should just go ahead now and was all the 0-3/3 months hmmmmm

all brands run so differently - just check the weight.
gerber is by far the tiniest clothing i've ever seen - i don't even think gerber 0-3 would fit my foot.

no not necessarily.
my good friend who just had a baby said that the 3 months is slightly larger than the 0-3 months. It is more of an in between size for when 3-6 months is too large but 0-3 months is too small.
Also, different brands run differently on sizes. She did say that Carter's seemed the most true to size.

gerber does seem soooo small!!!!
They are small and tend to shrink after washing. I find carter's to be the best!! GAP runs big and so does the Children's place (for some items).

my kids didn't start wearing 3 months clothes (from Carters) until 3 months old...but was wearing 0-3 months from the beginning! S I would say 3 months is bigger than 0-3 mo

when i measure 0-3 vs 3 months on top of each other, the 3 month clothes are slightly longer, so as a coming home from the hospital outfit, i'd go with a 0-3month.

Thanks ladies.
I mostly have Carters so I checked all the tags and the 0-3 and just 3 months all say the same weight 8-12lbs.

My daughter is pretty true to size. hen she was born she was small in Preemie clothes until around her due date, newborns until about 3 months and then 3 months size until about 6 months and then 6mon size and so on. She wears mostly Carter's and all brands are different. I LOVE Carter's and the way they fit, I also adore Gymbore, but they tend to run smaller IMHO. I LOVED the Gerber zip pj's, but they do run pretty small. They are a great deal for a newborn though and this baby will wear a lot of it like Emmy did. I will also add that Old Navy/Gap pj's are the bomb! Yup I said the bomb She wore them for months and you most def get your moneys worth!

I am pretty certain 0-3 and 3 are exactly the same. They might have seemed different at times b/c as a fluke the brands that were 3 ran larger. Differences between brands is definitely certain. Gerber for one as someone mentioned runs TINY and especially after the wash/shrinkage. The only difference I know about is 24m and 2t are not always the same b/c some companies consider 2t to be larger/taller.

Yeah I checked all my Carters and all of them 0-3 or just 3 are the 8-12lbs. I love the Carters so I think i'll be good with.

OMG, ITA. Gerber is a waste, in my opinion. They are so small its insane.
But 3 months and 0-3 months should be the same, but you'll have to check the wait. I've found Carters to be the most true to size. And if you have a tall, skinny baby, I've found Jumping Beans from Kohls to be AWESOME. They have the best clothes, good sizing and CRAZY SALES!!!
