need some good ideas.

We will be telling our parents this week (as long as all is good at our RE appointment) the good news. Please give me some cute creative ways we can tell them.

I dont really want to do anything with a picture of the sono because God forbid something happens I feel like they wouldn't know what to do with the picture.

We told both our parents at mothers' day- when we had the family over for a bbq. It was two days after our first doc appt and sonogram.

I took the sonogram picture and framed it and wrapped the frame- we gave one for each of our mothers and had them open it at the same time.

They both starting screaming./crying at the same time and everyone else was like "huh".. until they finally figured it out lol.

My mom is still talking about how clever of an idea it was and how she cant wait to tell people the whole story, once we give her the green light.

When we told about DD, it was Christmas..so we gave them "Merry Christmas Grandma & Grandpa" cards....it was cute because it took them a minute!!

I am due the week before Christmas, so I told my parents I had a good idea for a Christmas present for them.....another grandchild!

we told ILs the day of my MILs retirement party so we got a grandkids frame and put a sono in it...we wrapped it up and gave it to her when everyone (FIL, SIL, BIL) were in the room.

for my dad/step-mother we bought a bandana for our doggy and ironed on letters that said "Big Sister to Be....x2"

My mom & I posed for a picture on her Bday (I had the camera purposely set to video) I said "say cheese" My mom said cheese.. then I said "Say ____'s Pregnant!" It was cute.

We told our families Thanksgiving...

I got my parents a fall floral arrangement since they were hosting. But inside the arrangment I had 1 pink and 1 blue carnation in the center. Took a minute for them to actually LOOK at the flowers but it was fun.

When we told my inlaws with ds we were only back from our honeymoon a short time, I bought one of those little rectangle pillows with sayings on them, wrapped it up and told them it was a souvenir from the honeymoon....it said "grandchildren spoiled here"
Since you don't want to use a sono pic maybe you can but something like a cute grandparent sign or something

We asked them if they had plans for Memorial Day (Im due 5/31), and then when they said no, we asked them if they were free to be grandparents...
