do you like all the attention?

so ever since my belly popped and i actually look pregnant, it's so hard to walk around my job without someone stopping me and asking when im due, how im feeling, what are you having, etc... it's the same questions over and over lol. i've only been at work an hour so far today and already 2 people have told me my belly looks so small to be due in July.

when im out running my errands on the weekends, i do like that some people smile at me, hold doors for me and even some guys have helped me with my shopping cart at the supermarket.

so do you like all the extra attention that comes along with being pregnant?

LOVE it! i wish i could be pregnant all the time lol. i truly enjoy being pregnant

I do and I don't.
I guess when I was mid way and I had a cuter smaller belly i liked it more.
Now people look at me as if they feel bad cux I look like I'm ready to pop. LOL

at home I HATE the fact that everyone is up my a$$ and they don't let me do anything. And when I do something that I'm ot supposed to do I get the look or the head shake or something. GRRRR so frustrating to someone who is so used to being able to do everything on my my own.

I thought I would love it but I dont. I just feel fat even though Im not even that big....yet...

I hate when people comment on how big Ive gotten since last week or comment at all.

I find myself staying in my cubicle unless I absolutely have to get up.

It makes me sad, because I thought I would love this experience and my pregnancy has been great so far, but I cant help but dreams of the days when Ill be skinny once again.

For the most part. Not to sound like a total ***** but when people who are not friends or even FRIENDLY to me ask me my plans for coming back to work and stuff I get annoyed.

I mean you are not not my friend, we never speak MYOB kwim?

I really don't like it except for people I know. It slows me down. And my job is so busy I can't afford to be inefficient bc of chit chat. With DS#1 I actually had an evaluation that discussed my "obvious impending distraction." pardon me if I'm not rude to people you male pig!

To a point I am fine, but I hate when it is all anyone will talk about or the focus stays on me for too long.

However, if people didn't say something to me I would forget I was pregnant so it's a good reminder

I don't mind the repeated questions- I think it's sweet that people care so much. What I really really don't like is when people make a gigantic fuss and won't let you do anything. I'm a very active pregnant person- with my last pregnancy, I never changed anything I did throughout my whole pregnancy (I work in a preschool, so I am very active with the kids, constantly moving chairs around, setting things up, etc.) and I have always hated when people insist you don't lift a finger and they wait on you. It's very kind, but it makes me so uncomfortable. I feel like I am perfectly able-bodied, yet I am being made to sit around and watch everyone around me do work. It's such a strange feeling.

I don't mind it... At work the only problem is that I am super busy about 99% of the time just trying to get everything done and it wastes a little bit of my time every time someone asks something pregnancy related. Although, it is nice that everyone I work with won't let me do any heavy lifting

At home --- DH doesn't even seem to care that I'm PG. I still have to do all the cooking, cleaning, etc.

NO, I can't stand it.

I work in the fitness industry, so people see me in basically weekly intervals. Everyday I hear how much bigger I've gotten - ugh. I also hate being treated like I can't even pick up a feather! Though I'm sure I will appreciate that at some point!

Yes and no. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes I'm like oh look, a duck just to get the attention off me.

Most of the time yes!!! But there are times when it gets a little annoying, like when people ask personal questions or they think it's ok to rub your belly.

I don't like attention on me to begin with.. but as of now only family, a few friends and coworkers know.. so its not that bad. So I guess once I start showing, the comments and questions will start.. and it will drive me nuts.

its so fun reading all these responses! i dont like attention on me and i feel like im on display now. especially from my family - as soon as i walk into the room, the comments start flying about the size of my belly. its inevitable.

Nope hate it especially towards the end when the same people everyday ask u how u are and where your baby is

I am so beyond sick of hearing people ask me this over & over & over. Im 8 months pregnant & have to commute to work & come home to a very active toddler... Im TIREDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!

Everything else... I dont mind the attention.
