miserable....Update with my eventful Afternoon
so i posted sunday that I had tightness/pressure in my lower abdomen. Since then, I have had some cramping and tightness almost every day (not all day but at least some each day). Mostly on my left side. It's not severe but uncomfortable and just makes me nervous.
I have also been having terrible lower back pains. I haven't been able to sleep comfortably (got a snoogle and it's not helping). I wake up in pain every day and it just hurts all day long.
ugh it's like my whole body hurts!! I am only 15 weeks...I really hope it gets better. I cried to DH last night about how miserable I feel
I left a msg with my dr and am waiting to hear back. I am assuming the pains are all normal but figured I'd be safe and just give him a call.
Update:
so my dr called me back and wanted me to come right in bc with twins she worried that my cervix was shortening. I left work and went to the dr. They checked me out and the babies looked great but she thought my cervix was short. She sent me over to Mt. Sinai to be checked since they have better equipment. Of course, telling me I have to go to the hosp freaked me out.
So I got to mt. sinai and they took me right away. Luckily my cervix looks normal and both babies look great! False alarm
and it was great getting to see the babies again. I think I even saw that Baby A has a weiner!  Will find out for sure next week at my early anatomy scan!

I'm sure it's normal, especially for carrying twins. It's just so scary when you are going through it. Chances are you are having some awful ligament pain from stretching and it's doubled because of the two babies.
Around 16 or 17 wks I definitely had bouts of pain and crying my eyes out to DH about how much it hurt. Let yourself have the moment and don't feel bad about it. Your body is really starting to change and it's a lot!

thanks ladies. I feel like a big baby complaining bc it is still so early on...but you are right my body is going through so many changes esp with 2 babies in there

Never ever EVER feel bad about complaining!
Seriously, every pregnancy is soooo different. In the end, we are growing a human being, and in your case two of them.
Pregnancy (IMO) is NOT puppies & rainbows, it's rough on your body & hormones. It's hard as hell for some people and it's easy as pie for others. At 37 wks, I am utterly and completely miserable. But my misery doesn't mean your misery is less important or not as bad!
If you need to vent or cry or whatever, don't ever have guilt about it. It's part of the process.

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I had similar pains at 15 weeks and stilll get them from time to time.
Make sure you're drinking a lot of water, that helped me a little bit.
Hope you feel better soon.

I actually had really bad back pain around that time. I got a maternity belt and it helps a bit. It could be a bit annoying at times, but it definitely helps a bit with the round ligament stretching. Maybe try that.

i have very similar symptoms. and very stressed about them. especially when belly gets tight. i am 11 weeks and dr B said it is normal.
