Re: Drying Baby Clothes

I put almost everything in the dryer..same as my clothes. Never had a shrinking issue. If its a delicate item, I will hang dry

Re: Drying Baby Clothes

I know my sister used a drying rack but i just put them in the dryer on low or fluff for a short time. I also stretch them out with my hands when I take them out.

Re: Drying Baby Clothes

I always had shrinking issues with DS's clothes until I started drying them on the "super delicate" setting. Sometimes it needs an extra 1/2 of a cycle to get completely dry, but no more shrinking! For his really good stuff I use a drying rack for and then toss in for a few minutes to soften it back up.

So far I threw them in the dryer on a medium setting, but DD is not here yet so I cant tell if they shrunk or not!

Remember-no Dryer sheets with baby stuff b/c it can affect them being flame retardent...(Or at least thats what I was told).

Re: Drying Baby Clothes

I hang everything minus socks on a drying rack. Its annoying but I always felt that things did shrink a little bit even on low.

I dry everything in the dryer (delicate cycle). No problems with shrinking.

yeah i plan on using a drying rack. it's what i use for my own clothes bc the dryer always seems to shrink stuff, even if just a bit.
