How do you know if DD has a yeast infection?

How do you know if DD has a yeast infection?
DD usually has no issue with rashes but the last 3 weeks it's like she gets rash, it clears up, she gets is back, it clears up and then comes back. It always painful for her and now it's bumpy and the last 3 days she has been walking funny and peeing more than normal....how can you tell if she has a yeast infection?
ETA: She is 21 months

Sounds like she may have an urinary tract infection since you said frequency of peeing is more. And with the rash, she may be uncomfortable too. Definitely try to take her to her pediatrician.

She always pees alot though, she drink alot of fluid per day, im the same way. She doesn't have any pain or complain when she pees, could it still be a UTI?

DD's get yeast infections all the time, at least everytime we go for a check up they have one.
In our case it has always been a rash of little red dots. Usually in the creases in between her legs and butt area. The dr always prescribed ointment and within a couple of days its gone.
DD's have never shown any signs they were uncomfortable. They are 2 yo.
