we went a few summers ago and stayed at the Occidental Grand. We loved it!!

My cousin went there with his wife for their honeymoon and they stayed there and loved it! Do you think it would be appropriate for a babymoon? he said is was more for their age...but I dont know if that means there was a lot of partying around?

I mean we were drinking by the pool/beach like other people were but it was definitely not a wild party atmosphere. there were a lot of honeymooners and families there when we went.

we go to Aruba every year. My parents have time share at the marriott and I swear its the best place to stay! They have the best beach on the strip!
The restaurants are great, so I think you are better off not doing an all inclusive!
its hot all year round, but they get the best breeze all the time too, so it makes it more bearable!

Are you talking about the Mariott Casino? If so, is it true that it is very smokey because of the casino smokers?

we have a timeshare at the Marriott as well. THe Casino is in the hotel. THeir timeshares are the Surf and Ocean Club.

We stayed at the Casino/Hotel part. The only area that is smoky is the casino, but that is for all the casinos in Aruba (Hyatt, etc). The rest of the hotel area is not smokey at all. I cant recommend the Marriott enough! I wanna go back./

We went for our honeymoon and LOVED it! i tell everyone to go there. FOR ME I loved NOT doing an all inclusive, the restaurants there are AMAZING! Some of the best food I have EVER eaten. We stayed at the Radisson, LOVED IT! If you want any info on restaurants FM me.

We just went to Aruba last week! Not a babymoon for us, just a family vacation with our ds who is 21 months. It would be a great spot for a babymoon. Very relaxing. It was great and the weather was terrificChat Icon It was 88-90 everyday

*adding*
We met several couples who were on their babymoon while we were there. Most were about 5-6 months along.

Went to Aruba for our Honeymoon in August! its gorgeous there!

we stayed at the RIU palace. its all inclusive.

We went in November and also stayed at the RIU.

The hotel is beautiful, the food is decent, but holy carp the beds were AWFUL. I would never stay at one of their hotels ever again. It was like sleeping on concrete. We considered trying to sleep on the lounge chairs by the pool instead Chat Icon

Oh no! We are staying at the Rui in Aruba! Chat Icon Chat Icon
