First timers - Mother's Day?
Are you celebrating Mother's Day for yourself in anyway?
I told DH I wanted a card for "the mom-to-be" and he gave me the whole Hallmark's trying to make money shpiel.

I don't expect anything at all. If I get a card or little trinket, that's sweet and all, but I won't be upset if I don't.
Though next month it is going to be really cool celebrating DH's first father's day since our LO will probably be here before it happens!

I know my DH got me something because he forbade me from opening Amazon boxes. And we went to Hallmark yesterday for all our cards and he wouldn't let me see one.
He's a good egg! 
Meanwhile, I found a card for MY mom and it said all these moments when you need your mom and mentioned "when you're expecting a new baby" and I started crying in the aisle. I bought it. 
I DO consider this our first Mother's Day, in a way! We're already taking care of our baby!

Something tells me my parents will get me a mom to be card.
DH it could go either way and it won't bother me either way. obviously a gift is always nice but to be honest for fathers day I would probably just get him a card, if that, and say "Oh next yr you'll be a daddy".

My first mother to be mother's day I was on bedrest and my mom happened to be visiting. DH got me some gifts, he's so sweet. I was also a mother to his kids for years, but he treated me a little differently when I was pregnant with DS.
